The Lord of the Ring The Fellowship of The Ring review

Pippin: Are we lost?

Merry: No.

Pippin: I think we are.

Merry: Shh. Gandalf's thinkin'.

Pippin: Merry?

Merry: What?

Pippin: I'm hungry.

An epic tale of adventure and sacrifice begins. At first we are told about the one ring (voiced by Alan Howard) which gives power to the dark lord Sauran (Sala a Baker) to terrorize elves, humans and dwarves. After many deaths and wars the ring is lost until a hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins (Ian Holm) who takes it to the shire, a merry hobbit village were the happy-go-lucky hobbits such as Everard Proudfoot (Noel Appleby) live in harmony. But Sauran has returned and the ring is luring his forces to itself. Gandalf The Grey ( Ian McKellen) who needs the ring destroyed before Sauran can use it again and is good friends with Bilbo and his nephew Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) comes to The Shire to warn them. But Bilbo is too obsessed with The Ring and can't be trusted so young Frodo has to go on an adventure to destroy the one ring. While Gandalf is talking strategy with Frodo, Samwise Gamgee (Sean Astin) is over hearing their conversation. Gandalf takes him in and as punishment he has to guard Frodo during his journey. They're going on an adventure!

Now I was suggested by a friend to watch this glorious movie and I enjoyed every second of it. There literally no filler in this movie (I don't mind fillers in movies but I appreciate it when a movie leaves filler scenes and thrusts that much story into it). The acting is outstanding, and although I hated Samwise's character a rid bit at the beginning he kind of grew on me. I give this movie 10 huzzahs.

Horrible Bosses 2 (2014) Review

Movie Poster

Horrible Bosses 2 is the sequel to 2011's Horrible Bosses and directed by Sean Anders (Sex Drive). It follows the story of the three victims of horrible bosses from the first movie, Nick Hendricks (Jason Bateman), Kurt Buckman (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale Arbus (Charlie Day), and their current event lives. They have invented a new product named the shower buddy which inserts shampoo into the shower head for a brief while so you don't have to apply it yourself. After show casing it on a morning television show they get a call from Boulder Stream. The company owner's son, Rex Hanson (Chris Pine) offers to buy their idea for a one time fee but they refuse. When he reveals it was a 3 million dollar fee they try to get the deal back until Bert Hanson (Christoph Waltz) enters the room and decides on a new deal. He orders a 100,000 units of shower buddy's and the three joes go off to work. On a business loan of $500,000 they rent a warehouse, get employees and finish producing in less than a week. But when they go to inform Bert on their breakthrough, he cancels his order. Instead he has opted to wait till they don't get an extension for their loan and then buy the shower buddy's off the auction cheaper than it being made in China and rename it The Shower Pal. The guys are furious and they go back to their warehouse to plot a way to get their company back. They can't afford that money since now they're out of jobs and Dale has three kids. Kurt and Dale come up with murder but then they remember the fiasco that was the first movie. Then they settle on kidnapping but they don't have a plan. They go to the usual suspect Motherfucker Jones (Jamie Foxx). He gives them their plan. They'll have to sneak into Rex's house and knock him out with a substance or gas and keep him captive without him seeing them until Bert pays up to get his son back. The only place they know to get knockout gas from is from Dale's former working space, Dr Julia Harris D.D.S.'s (Jennifer Aniston) clinic. After an almost botched plan they get out successfully and their plan is on a full swing.
\
Jennifer Aniston as Dr Julia Harris DDS
Now if I dove more into the story it would kind of damage the story. This is possibly the best comedy this year. It made me laugh from the start to the beginning with creatively written jokes. Although some of it was censored in here's theaters but I'm optimistic that I will watch it again when it hits iTunes. It has an all out great cast with scenes put together in a magnificent order, Jennifer Aniston knocks it out of the park, it's just a masterpiece. And while some comedy movies have an OK stories this had a great story. I give it 10 laugh gases out of 10.

ROH Eye of The Storm 2 (2009) review

Entertainment, but mostly wrestling. I'm sorry I didn't take any notes during the matches but that first sentence is all I'll try to support in this review. Also this is the first time I've seen Bison Smith.
I watched the event on ROH's VOD and the first match where grizzly redwood defeated Sonjay Dutt was cut. It started out with Rhett Titus vs Kenny Omega. It started as kind of a weird match with Omega pretending to be jacking off and using Titus' hand as his penis but the rest of the match went great. At one point Omega was  on the top rope and Rhett jumped up and then delivered a Sitout Facebuster off the top rope! Ulrltimately Omega hit Titus with Coyt's Rath and a fantastic match came to a finish.
Then there was a tag team match between Prince Nana's Embassy and Kevin Steen and El Generico. Steen had an injured knee which played a huge factor in the match giving Erick Stevens and Bison Smith the win. And I learned in the after match that Kevin Steen has one large range snout.
Then came the lackluster Chris Hero vs Colt Cabana match. Don't get me wrong, I love these guys, that may be why I built it up too much in my mind but then was disappointed when they delivered an OK match.
Then it was the ROH world champion and his protege Kenny King trying to out 80's The Young Bucks with their matching tiger tights. Before the match  Aries gave the most hilarious promo before the match about tassels. Later in the match Matt Jackson did a diving corkscrew cutter to perfection and then later in the match they hit More Bang For Your Buck on Kenny King for the win.
Later there was an A+ match between Tyler Black and Roderick Strong. Mid match Roderick dropped a crucifix cutter which was sick! Later after two Double Underhook Powerbombs Roderick pinned Black for the win.
Then came the main event six man tag team match. The ROH world tag team champions American Wolves and Alex Koslov took on Rocky Romero and The Briscoes. The highlight of the match when Koslov got the whole crowd to chant Russia. Romero pinned Koslov for the win while Mark and Jay Briscoe made it back after chasing Richards and Edwards backstage.

Big Trouble In Little China (1986) review

Movie Poster

Big Trouble in Little China is an American film directed by John Carpenter (Halloween). It follows Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) who is a truck driver and delivers pigs to Chinese restaurants in the urban area of  Little China. He bets and gambles all night with his friend Wang Chi (Dennis Dun) until dawn, Wang Chi owns a restaurant and after a lot of rounds he owes Jack about a thousand bucks. He needs to go to the airport though to pick up his girlfriend Miao Yin (Suzee Pai). Jack doesn't trust Wang Chi and makes him drive with him in his truck. They get to the airport and there Jack sees a girl named Gracie Law (Kim Cattrall)  who is also waiting for a girl. Meanwhile the Lords of Death gang appears in the airport worries Wang Chi. And he was right to worry because they steal Miao Yin and take her back to Chinatown. While following the Lords of Death with their truck Jack and Wang Chi run into a gang warfare between the Chang Sing who were performing a funeral and Wing Kong who interrupted that funeral. Chaos ensues and The Three Storms (Thunder, Rain and Lightning) join the fray and Jack tries to escape through the crowd but he runs over David Lo Pan (James Hong) who is the bearer of the darkest magic in the world.
Kurt Russell as Jack Burton

Man where do I start with this movie? It is everything you could ask for in an action movie added to Kurt Russell's amazing acting and macho. It has the gang warfare, the damsels in distress, the shooting, the cursing and humor. It is a brilliant and fresh film (even now in 2014) which surprisingly didn't do well in the box office (it did coincide with James Cameron's Aliens) and caused John Carpenter to refrain from making Hollywood movies ever again (due to the ridiculous mockery the critics gave him as reviews) but to be fair he did give us They Live after that so the legend of John Carpenter just went on. I give this movie a 9/10 minus 1 point because I felt the presenting weapons scene by thunder was a little too dragged out, but the rest of the movie was pure genius.

ROH Final Battle 2014 predictions

The time of the year has arrived, its the annual Final Battle and it's sure to impress. We have an amazing card set up with great lead ups. You got your main event and every belt is defended in this Pay Per View and is available on Ring of Honor's website.

Match #1
Mark Briscoe vs. Hanson vs. Caprice Coleman vs. Jimmy Jacobs in a Four Corner Survival Match
My pick to win: Caprice Coleman
More than a conqueror, the sky splitta and the kind of the only one of these guys who has actual momentum going into the match. He has been repackaged with a gimmick now and this would be his return which will sure be a spectacular match.

Match #2
The Young Bucks and ACH vs The Addiction and Cedric Alexander in a Six Man Tag Team Match

My pick to win: The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) and Cedric Alexander
Christopher Daniels' triumphant ROH return has been a success from the very beginning. Along himself has come with him a PWG legend in the form of Frankie Kazarian. And one of the greatest breakout stars in ROH's recent years, Cedric Alexander. Nothing against the Young Bucks but its hard to bet against the best tag team in the biz-i-ness.

Match #3
Michael Elgin vs. Tommaso Ciampa
My pick to win: Tommaso Ciampa
The Sicilian Psychopath has been brought back to ROH. And even though he didn't win the Survival of The Fittest 2014 he seems to be born for greatness. His promos are priceless and Michael Elgin is still recovering from his loss to Jay Briscoe in his homecountry. Ciampa for the win!

Match #4
Moose vs. R.D. Evans
My pick to win: R.D. Evans
After months of #TheNewStreak continuing till it was 173-0 R.D. finally got a title shot against Jay Lethal. But his best man Ramon now known as Stokely Hathaway and Moose turned on him and cost him the title after Prince Nana, who wanted revenge on R.D. for taking The Embassy from him, convinced them to do so. I respect ROH for respecting Goldberg's streak and not surpassing it. R.D. has also unveiled amazing mic skills with his promos on YouTube and seems like the cornered animal ready to be unleashed on Moose.

Match #5
Roderick Strong vs. Adam Page
My pick to win: Adam Page
Since The Decade has come along they have had two recruits which they claim to teach the path of greatness to, Adam Page and TaDarius Thomas. But recently Jimmy Jacobs, BJ Whitmer and Roderick Strong have not been on the same page, no pun intended. Roderick Strong disapproves of Adam Page just as much as BJ Whitmer approves of him. This has led to Whitmer calling Roderick cancer and cutting him out. I pick Adam Page because his momentum can't be stopped.

Match #6
Jay Lethal (c) vs. Matt Sydal for the ROH World Television Championship
My pick to win: Matt Sydal
Since returning to ROH Matt Sydal has been Truth Martini's no.1 priority to recruit. He has been targeted and helped to win matches several times but when it came to decision time he chose to not join The House of Truth. Jay Lethal didn't take kindly to that and attacked Matt's brother a week before their match at Final Battle. I'm confident that Matt Sydal's road to redemption won't have a dead end but reach World Television gold.

Match #7
reDRagon (c) vs, Time Splitters for the ROH World Tag Team Championships
My pick to win: reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish)
When reDRagon was touring Japan they dominated every tag team put in their path. Forever Hooligans and The Young Bucks to finally win the Super Junior Tag Tournament 2014. But their successful tour didn't stop there, they also beat the Time Splitters for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles. Now Kushida and Alex Shelley want to make them feel their own poison and take the ROH tag team titles to Japan. I picked reDRagon because they're seemingly unstoppable. Many times I have doubted them but they finally won me over. They'll keep the belts.

Main Event
Jay Briscoe (c) vs. Adam Cole in a Fight Without Honor for the ROH World Championship
My pick to win: Adam Cole
After winning Survival of The Fittest 2014 Adam Cole has a world title shot against Jay Briscoe. When Jay Briscoe had an injured arm he wasn't cleared to wrestle for months until Nigel McGuiness told him he had to vacate the belt. Reluctantly Jay's father told him he had to shake the hand of the winner of the tournament if they win like a man. The tournament started and Adam Cole won the belt. But when Jay shook his hand and was walking away Adam Cole superkicked him in the back of the head. From there one of the fiercest rivalries in recent years started and now it has been rekindled. I have faith in Adam Cole. This guy has played his cards right and payed his dues and he reminds me of a young Ric Flair but way better in the wrestling side of things. Jay Briscoe is a great wrestler no doubt but this is the end of his reign

Ring Of Honor 2015 Success Sheet

Well, well, well. Time to place my faithful bunch of ROH wrestlers for 2015. Now ROH is the alternative to WWE and TNA. It has great storyline sand amazing wrestling with a good and upcoming roster. Tomorrow is ROH's biggest event of the year, Final Battle, (talk about keeping the best for last) and good on me for taking my ROH picks now. Remember there's a huge and talented roster with a lot of good wrestlers and obvious choices, I went with the legit ones.
1. Adam Cole
Bay bay! Adam Cole is has had the biggest success in recent years, winning the ROH world title and television title, and recently winning Survival of the Fittest. The Cole train doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. Tommorow night it will be Jay Briscoe vs Adam Cole in a fight without honor for the ROH world title. In my eyes we'll have a new world champion bay bay.

2, Silas Young
The last real man in professional wrestling may not be featured in Final Battle but he's definitely a future world champion. He is full of potential and can be a brawler just as much as a grade A high flyer. Also although it is not very obvious Silas has been all over ROH for the past few years. He has recently popped into the scene though and a world title run will be in his future.

3. Mark Briscoe
Like I said earlier Jay Briscoe's reign is very near to its conclusion. So while the bigger brother cools off from a crushing loss at Final Battle little brother can go and capture his glory. Mark has shown over the years that he may not be as talented as Jay on the mic but he's surely one of the best. Back in 2013 he had his shot against his brother but came up short. 2015 looks to be Mark's year of ascension.

4. Tommaso Ciampa
Well this is a no-brainer. After almost capturing his ultimate moment of glory at Death Before Dishonor XII but he lost his cool and that cost him the belt in an angle that was so well worked I actually thought he was legitimately suspended. Ciampa undoubtedly has the charisma, mic skills and great moveset , his future is as bright as his Mohawk usually is.

5. Caprice Coleman
Seriously how has this guy never won a title in ROH? He has champion written all over him. His recent entrance theme music video on ROH's YouTube channel is amazing and just watch any of his singles matches to know that this guy can sell and deliver. He has had rocky years though and that seems to have cleared up and his resurgence in ROH will sure be triumph.

6. Kyle O'Reilly
Sure, you may know him as half of reDRagon in ROH but in PWG this guy has took the ball and ran with it in his single career. He has the wrestling skill no doubt. But he can improve a little bit on his mic skills and bam you have yourself a champion. At this rate I can see him either continuing with Bobby Fish into winning more tag team gold or climbing the singles ladder straight to the top.

7. Frankie Kazarian
Frankie has had a rough run with the big companies. First he is unused in WWE. Then in TNA he has to job to a bunch of heavyweights rather than be world champion and that's what I love about Ring of Honor. Size doesn't matter. You can see anyone with charisma and wrestling skills go straight to the top and this environment is where Kazarian can thrive.

8. TaDarius Thomas
This guy is in fact the first wrestler I've seen that delivers a fusion of capoeira and professional wrestling. His kicks are literally  lethal and he reminds me of a young Rob Van Dam. Van Dam ended up soaring to the top of the ladder winning the WWE championship and way more. TaDarius seems to be on the same road to glory.

9. R.D. Evans
Well talk about best of two worlds. The barrister himself keeps it to a whopping best of three worlds. He has worked as an outstanding manager, heel leader and now believe it or not he is a top notch wrestler. The promo he gave before his match with Jay Lethal proves this man's mic skills and #TheNewStreak says a lot about how he can handle a gimmick. Sure he won't go from his current state of greatness to world champion (although he might), he will surely dethrone Jay Lethal in 2015.

10. Maria Kanellis
Now I know you expected 10 wrestlers on my sheet but managers are still in-ring personalities. I could not exclude Maria here because she has just been such a great manager throughout 2015 that in 2015 she will deliver the world title to someone. Right now The Kingdom is doing great under her wings and with her Michael Bennett's career will skyrocket to the throne.

Fury (2014) review

"Wardaddy: Ideals are peaceful. History is violent."

Fury is an American World War II movie directed by David Ayer (End of Watch). This movie revolves around one tank named Fury used to house 4 brothers in arms until a former clerk who was brought into war by force joins them as their assistant driver. As Norman Ellison ( Logan Lerman) struggles with the cruelties of war and the harrowing decisions he has to make, the Unite States army makes their way into Germany. The tank is commanded by hardened veteran Don 'Wardaddy' Collier (Brad Pitt) and the other three memebers are Boyd 'Bible' Swan (Shia Labeouf), Trini 'Gordo' Garcia (Michael Pena) and Grady Travis (Jon Bernthal). Wardaddy has to keep his emotions inside and not show himself broken to his soldiers, while Boyd is a religious man who even says prayers with dying German soldiers. Gordo is mostly a mexican caught up in this war and Grady is the tough one from the south. As they make their way through war this movie showcases the brutality and the seriousness of the war. It shows how hard it is to kill for Norman. At one point he would rather get killed. It shows the differences between the new soldiers and the hardened veterans. This movie might as well be the newest and most different take on the World War II. Rather than a 'murica run-in to shoot the Nazis down, this movie takes it to a whole other level of emotions (I cried 5 separate times while seeing it) and shows us the true colors of war.

World Wrestling Entertainment 2015 Success Sheet

As with the article I wrote on PWG's future champions, I'm going to do the same with WWE's future champions. Mainly I just want to make sure I know who I'll stick with for the entire next year or in the rare case of me being right about all of them then we'll see a side switch. But there's a difference here. With PWG I just predicted the future champions and gave them specific titles to win. Here I'm going to name 10 wrestlers out of WWE's current roster and 5 wrestlers from NXT to win any title during 2015.

1. Seth Rollins
The Aerialist himself Seth Rollins has made quite the splash with his new look and gimmick in the WWE. He has hell to pay after The Authority's loss at Survivor Series but they can't take away his money in the bank briefcase right? I mean last time Damien Sandow cashed in and it was a tragedy. I'm picking him hoping he will surely grasp the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and bring an end to the same old champions routine.

2. Cesaro

Of coarse The Swiss Superman was going to be on this list. I have see this man start from the smug 5 language speaking Swiss Aristocrat and now we see a finished real life Superman. He has had amazing battles with Dolph Ziggler and great matches with anyone overall. I honestly can't say I've seen a bad Cesaro match. With this reputation 2015 looks like a good year to be on this guy's side.

3.  Luke Harper
Luke Harper made my head explode after he won the Intercontinental Title. I mean I was cheering for him to win but then I thought Dolph would pull the old hero not zero thing and keep the belt. To my happiness he didn't and Harper's your new champion. It's all uphill from here for Mr. Harper.

4. Erick Rowan
Now you might think I just put him here because Luke Harper's here and Bray Wyatt will be somewhere along the list. That won't happen because Bray is too sure of a choice. It would be like picking Dean Ambrose. Erick Rowan in my eyes has been one of the few big men in the WWE that have an actual solid gimmick and can move around easily in the ring while being strong (he bodyslammed the Big Show).

5. Fandango
Yay Fandango is reborn and he's beating the life out of everyone now! So now with a new dancer in Rosa Mendes Fandango has made his return with a new look and theme. He has always been the Ballroom Brute and with him winning the season 4 of NXT and beating former Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho I have complete faith in this man to win the gold in 2015.

6. Kane
Why not Kane? He is repackaged as Corporate Kane and he still has his monstry feel. Sure he hasn't won in a long while but him beating the breath out of the Exotic Express was great and everytime he loses he loses with a rollup or a move that's not really a loss. Kane's big year (not the biggest but a big year none the less) will be 2015.

7. Titus O'Neil
Winning is officially spelled "T-I-T-U-S". Titus O'Neil is money. He has the mic skills, charisma, size, looks, agility and wrestling ability. He has it all wrapped into one big box that WWE has made out of him. Titus' year will be 2015 when he'll run through the roster and leave a lot of beaten people behind while stacking a lot of W's and a lot of gold.

8. Mark Henry
The world's strongest man has has a resurgence after his loss to Rusev and his feud with the Big Show will continue through 2014. But 2015 will be one successful year for this man and a lot of people will be inducted into the Hall of Pain. Mark Henry is legitimately strong and has the mic skills to last him a life time. His T-shirts are neatly made.

9. Emma
Switching over to the Diva side of things. Emma has been a sensation in NXT ever since her debut and is catching up with the huge crowds at WWE events. She has possibly one of the coolest move sets on the current roster. She also does Tajiri's Tarantula. Emma was a Survivor this past Survivor Series so she is on a bit of a winning streak as of late and I'm sure these improvements will develop into WWE Divas title gold.

10. Tamina Snuka
After being a manager in both FCW and WWE there was a time when Tamina came into her own. She showed wrestling ability that I personally didn't expect out of a manager and she rose up the Divas rank one by one. But everytime she had an opportunity at the WWE Divas Championship she came up short. Later she became AJ's hired gun and after breaking up she had a few more shots at the title. What I don't understand is why WWE hasn't already given her that belt? Well she has been injured for about 5 months now and she should recover after the 6th. She will return and be a Superfly Splash away from the title.

Now let's roll over to the NXT-verse

1. Tyler Breeze
This guy has taken the gimmick of Rick Martel and Sylvan and perfected it into Prince Pretty. He walks down the isle while taking a selfie video and his superkicks are devastating and he is the first model-gimmick type guy I see succeeding in WWE. He speaks with such self confidence and backs it up in the ring. He's had amazing matches with Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd but 2014 seems to be the conclusion of the whole Zayn redemption saga so Breeze's time will come in 2015.

2. Enzo Amore
Sporting one of the coolest haircuts in wrestling history and a mic skill equivalent if not better of the 1999 heel Rock is Enzo Amore. This guy is backed up by his man Colin Cassady but he hasn't wrestled much. It doesn't matter though, he has the mic skills and the looks so maybe he can wrestle more in 2015 and bam! success.

3. Marcus Louis
After having his hair shaved bald at NXT takeover this Frenchman is perfect for a revenge story. His partner left him for the wolves so Louis will exact revenge and then go on to win a few more matches and  bam you have another successful NXT talent. The reason you don't see Kevin Owens, Hideo Itami, Fin Balor, Sami Zayn or Adrian Neville here is because they're are just too obvious of choices.

4. Tye Dillinger
I know, I know he's just a jobber with Jason Jordan. But listen to me for a second, Tye Dillinger is the undisputed king of the developmental terretories. I know that's not saying much but his better known name is Shawn Spears. He was the king of OVW and his stint in FCW was remarkable. He is crazy talented and if you see his OVW matches you'll see what WWE is missing out on.

5. Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks has always been a great wrestler in the indies. She was great in Chaotic Wrestling but she has improved vastly since she made her NXT debut. She can beat Charlotte for the NXT Divas Championship and then drop it to Bayley showing that bullies don't always win. Also she has the best finishing move names. "Bank Statement" and "Bankrupt" are just pure gold.
