Wrestlemania 30 review

So here we are, 30 years in the making. With my favorite Wrestlemania being Wrestlemania X-Seven and Rey Mysterio and Kane being featured on the Wrestlemania 30 card I watched the show eagerly to see what WWE's 2014 Pay Per View of the year was all about. Prior that I made some predictions:
Daniel Bryan def. Triple H
Summer Rae wins Vickie Guerrero's Championship Invitational
Rey Mysterio wins Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Bray Wyatt def. John Cena
Brock Lesnar def. Undertaker
The Authority (Kane and The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Road Dogg)) def. The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins)
Daniel Bryan def. Randy Orton and Batista
Rybaxel won the WWE Tag Team Championships
Let's get started. The Pre-Show featured The Usos defending against The Real Americans (Cesaro and Jack Swagger) with Zeb Colter, Rybaxel (Ryback and Curtis Axel) and Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando) with El Torito.
The match was overwhelmingly great for a pre-show match and the eliminations were believable. But sadly my predictions went wrong and The Usos retained their titles.
Next the show started with a segment between The Rock, Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. The Silver-dome bit was funny as the show was in the Super-dome but all Hulk kept saying was Silver-dome until he was corrected by the fans. The only thing I didn't like about this segment was it's length which was too long. Then it was Daniel Bryan taking on Triple H for a spot at the Triple Threat match later that night for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. the match was far better than what I expected out of Triple H with the technical wrestling and overall moves the only thing that ruined it was the post-match attack after a Running Single Leg High Knee from Daniel Bryan which ended the match.
Then we had The Shield taking on The Authority which was kind of disrespectful to the New Age Outlaws as in the middle of their legendary introduction the Shield interrupted them with their music. Although the Double Triple Powerbomb at the end made up for it, still the length of the match was rather short.
Later that night The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal started out with Big Show dominating all other 30 wrestlers. 3MB (Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater) eliminated some people as a team but where eliminated eventually. At one point Rey Mysterio talked his way out of elimination by the Big Show but after a 619 attempt and springboard he was ultimately European Uppercutted (that's a word from now) him out. Fandango impressively eliminated Big E Langston and at one point we saw Brad Maddox? get eliminated but overall it was a great battle royal, specially with Cesaro's amazing show of strength, body slamming Big Show out of the ring for the win!
Next was the highly anticipated match between John Cena and Bray Wyatt. It was a great match also including Bray Wyatt's spider walk scaring Cena to death. And really cool performance by Mark Crozer singing Live in Fear as The Wyatt Family's theme song. But the ending wasn't what I wanted which was Cena keeping his legacy and refraining from turning into the monster Bray Wyatt saw in him. I personally wanted to see a heel Cena. He later hit the attitude Adjustment on Bray Wyatt for the victory.

Then came the highly shocking end of The Undertaker's streak after 3 F5's from Lesnar. YES, finally another prediction comes true. And the chilling after effect of the match that put everyone in awe was a reason this should be a match of the year candidate.
Later the unlikely retaining of AJ Lee after she put Naomi in the Black Widow submission. The overall match was solid with most divas showing off their talent but I'm still disappointed
Summer Rae didn't win, that'd be great. AJ Lee went on to lose her belt the next night to Paige.
Finally the epic match and the brutal burying of Daniel Bryan still was satisfying as Daniel Bryan came out the victor with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the suicide dive onto the Authority which included Stephanie McMahon was one of the best points of the match. Overall Wrestlemania 30 was a great show and a must watch if you have access to the WWE Network.
