The Amazing World of Gumball : Mutant Fridge Mayhem review

The Amazing World of Gumball: Mutant Fridge Mayhem is an awesome beat 'em up game developed by Cartoon Network. Food is flying everywhere and its complete mayhem. Join Gumball, Anais and Darwin to take down the Mutant Fridge. I played this game for a while but after the story I stopped playing to continue other great games by Cartoon Network. The story is basic and has exclusive animated shorts in the beginning and the end and completing all the levels equals saving elmore. Its a paid game but you get more bang for your bucks. 10/10

TNA Xplosion Januray 27, 2015 review

Another pre-recorded Xplosion hit the wall but this time it stuck. It featured a bunch of stuff I didn't watch and an amazing triple threat knockouts match that I did watch. In this match Taryn Terrell took on Madison Rayne and Angelina Love. As you may or may not know Angelina is also the announcer of Xplosion. So she announces herself after announcing the other two and comes down to the ring. It starts a little slow but then Madison and Angelina join forces for a one night only Beautiful People Reunion. After the double team continues at one point Madison hits Taryn with a vicious kick that reminded me how hard hitting the Knockouts Division was. Later on Taryn locked Madison in a chinlock and then Angelina preceded to lock Taryn in a chinlock causing a rare double chinlock to happen and the counter was even better because Madison did a double jawbreaker to break the hold entirely. As the match progressed Madison and Angelina kept trying to steal each others covers until Tayrn hit a double diving Crossbody off the top rope. Later I realized something, Taryn Terrell hits some hard elbow smashes. She can be the Chris Hero of TNA's Knockouts Division. Anyway, in the end Angelina was getting ready to hit Taryn who was held in a double chickenwing by Madison with the Botox Injection but instead hit Madison as Taryn moved out of the way. Then she hit a running cutter on a shocked Angelina and pinned her for the win. Since Angelina was down no winner was announced though. It was hilarious. ****.

Royal Rumble 2015 predictions

Well now that 2015 has begun we're getting ready for the first WWE PPV of the year, the big one, the Royal Rumble. We have an awesome lineup and for the first time I subscribed to the WWE Network just to see this spectacle. The WWE World Heavyweight championship is on the line in a triple threat match and the WWE Tag Team Championships are on the line in a tag team match as well. And of coarse the name of the game, a title shot at WrestleMania hangs in the balance as 30 wrestlers will try their damnedest to survive in the ring.

Match #1
The New Day (Big E Langston, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. Masters of the WWE Universe (Tyson Kidd and Cesaro) and Adam Rose
My pick: Cesar, Kidd and Rose
Why would I pick the Masters of the WWE Universe? Because they're awesome. They're everything a modern tag team should be. They have the charisma, the moveset, the swagger and everything you could ask for in a transition for new tag teams while The New Day are just face Spirit Squad. Anyway they've also had the one-up in this feud leading up to the rumble so the safe bet it on them.

Match #2
The Ascension vs. The New Age Outlaws
My pick: Konnor and Viktor
The Ascension has come a long way in a rocky road ever since debuting in the WWE. Everytime they faced local competitors I would boo them because that is not what a dominant tag team does. Now it finally seems that the WWE has found a good tag team to put them over, the same guys who put over The Usos, The New Age Outlaws.

Match #3
Paige and Natalya vs. The Bella Twins
My pick: Paige and Natalya
Finally Natalya is getting some friends in Paige which then ties into the Total Divas stuff that I haven't seen yet. This match does have the Divas Champion on the opposition of my picks but I'm sticking with my guns. Or you could just say I'm waiting for Tamina Snuka to return.

Match #4
The Usos (c) vs The Miz and Damien Mizdow for the WWE Tag Team Championships
My pick: The Miz and Damien Mizdow
Isn't Damien Mizdow just the most entertaining stunt double in the WWE history? He's the only one. Why not? The Miz and Damien Mizdow are always entertaining to see and I would love two entertaining WWE Tag Champs over two champs who have been the same boring thing since about a month or so after the first time they won the belts.

Match #5
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
My pick: Seth Rollins
Now this is risky but not as risky as my Rumble picks because this one could possibly happen. After the sight of both Cena and the champion Brock Lesnar being curb stomped by him made sure I root for him this rumble. Rollins has been the ultimate heel of late 2014 and is a very talented guy. He will be your new champion at the Royal Rumble and has his money in the bank briefcase as backup.

Match #6
The Royal Rumble Match

My picks to win it all in order from first to last: Kane, Luke Harper, Fandango
Okay, Okay, Okay. Chill out for a second and let me explain. The reason I picked Kane is that I believe out of the final four of 2001 he still should have won the Rumble. He didn't even necessarily needed to win at WrestleMania, just win at the Rumble. Why I picked Luke Harper is because he is talented and can go toe to toe with today's elite. Fandango is because he rules and it would be the biggest possible shocker if he won the Royal Rumble.

Who do you got?

Compact Only (short)

Security Guard: "Are you leaving yet?"

So recently I've seen some creative and awesome short films on YouTube and thought it would be injustice not to review them. This short film named Compact Only  was released in 2008 and is one of the most creatively hilarious sketches ever. It starts with a man ordering food from a burger joint but being denied service after he tells them his address. So he uses the next go to address which is the nearest grocery. After not tipping the delivery boy he simply parks in a spot and enjoys his meal while watching the daily struggles that happen in an ordinary day at a grocery's parking lot. The concept is simple yet brilliant. 8/10

TNA 2015 Success Sheet

A new year has begun and I'm sorry for posting this too late but with the recent changes in TNA I wanted to wait until the smoke was clear to decide my 2015 success sheet for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Which is basically me picking ten wrestlers to succeed and reach new heights and championships by year's end.

The current state of TNA's championships 1/18/2015
1. Taryn Terrell

Terrell winning the TNA Knockouts Championship for the first time
Taryn has seriously improved since entering TNA as a knockouts referee. Her rivalry with Gail Kim and their last knockout standing matches have helped catapulting her into being a mainstay in the TNA knockouts division. Also last year she had another well done match with Gail and she just seems to be improving as the years come and go. Last year she also realized her destiny by winning the TNA Knockouts Championship from the unstoppable Havok, 2015 looks to be a great year for the reigning Knockouts Champion.

2. Eddie Edwards
Alongside Davey Richards as The Wolves, Eddie is a two time TNA World Tag Team Champion
It was really a hard choice to pick one of The Wolves. They are both great athletes and awesome performers and I love the new super realistic tattoos they have on their chest which at one point I thought was a real scar. I picked Eddie because I just remember Davey having more success and recognition as a singles wrestler than Eddie had. Regardless both are great athletes, its just that I have to pick one

3. Samoa Joe

He recently turned heel and joined the newest faction in TNA, The Beatdown Clan. And destroyed Kurt Angle in the ring. The way it seems, there will be a lot more of "Joe is gonna kill you" chants because the path of destruction that has started doesn't look like its going to stop. Who knows maybe Joe will capture the world title again in 2015. I also loved the way he sang The Beatdown Clan's creed, "I'm gonna whip somebody's ass"

4. The Great Sanada

At first we thought he was just a cross-promotional one hit wonder from Wrestle-1 but apparently he is in TNA to stay. And he is one of the greatest new members of the X-division and joining James Storm's Revolution was just the flavor he needed to add to his wrestling personality. Now he is the entire package a champion should be and my favorite member of The Revolution.

5. Madison Rayne
What's there to say? She is the Killa Queen and every time she has lost a career match or more recently her hair she has came back. 5 TNA Knockouts championship wins isn't a small accomplishment and her feud with Taryn Terrell can spark a great rivalry over the Knockouts Championship.

6. Chris Melendez
Again I was hesitant to put the former army sergeant recently turned wrestler Chris Melelndez on my list. But he has come through and if Mr. Anderson (my third favorite wrestler ever) backs him up, I'll back him up too. Besides he could be the next Zach Gowen but in a company where he may succeed and not have his success crushed by his size.

7. Kenny King

Whoa, another member of The Beatdown Clan is on this list? Yes, yes there is. I've been saying this for years, "The King of The Night" Kenny King is the future of the X-Division but now I take it back. He is the future of TNA, he has every credential and ability to be a main eventer, heck, put both main titles on him and he will carry it like the champ that he is.

8. Lashley

"The Destroyer" is not in The Beatdown Clan? WHAT? Well, it was coming sooner or later, we all know that MVP's ego wasn't gonna take a backseat to Lashley's but Lashley is still the World Heavyweight Champion and he's going to get his belt back one way or the other. He is also a phenomenal performer when he hits the spear.

9. Eric Young

EY is heel? Can he pull it off? That was my response when he hit Bobby Roode with the steel chair at the conclusion of Roode vs Lashley 3. It came outta nowhere but can EY pull off a heel? His match last Saturday proved he can, specially with him hitting the piledriver in the most brutal fashion possible (other than breaking someone's neck of coarse).

10. Magnus

Ever since losing the world title to Eric Young, Magnus has taken sort of a backseat. He had a little thing with Bram but now is mainly featured on Xplosion. That is a waste. He needs to go on the main roster again and join The Revolution or go all lone wolf and take everyone out. I don't know but he looks like a main eventer and needs to be on the main show. Emphasize on "needs to be".

Who do you think will succeed?

ROH Straight Shootin' with Mick Foley review

DVD cover

First of all I wanted to warn you all, this is a four hour segment but if you love wrestling stories, Mick Foley brings to the table some of the best behind the scenes takes with all the honesty. Foley talks his feud with Ric Flair, going back to WWE in 2003 and being greeted by Stacy Keibler and Test, why did he have to retire and a lot of other great memories that would spoil this amazing shoot. What I love about this shoot is the honesty that Mick has. Nothing seems held back and listening to Mick was like listening to your cool uncle who has a lot of war stories. (I say uncle because sometimes grandpas and dads censor their stories while uncles give you the raw material). Overall the idea of straight shootin' is a great premise with a lot of great stories that fans can have access to, now you put a guy filled with great stories, a hardcore legend and the most interesting wrestling icon alive today in my opinion, and bam! You get one interesting shoot.
It's definitely a 10/10 from me.
By the way, Happy New Year everyone!
